Eleven years ago today, I received news that would change my life for forever. Today is the anniversary of mom's passing, and instead of looking on this day with sadness, I'm amazed at what Christ, my Savior, is capable of. He has healed my heart and given me a passion for Him and others to know Him, through her death. I used to be embarrassed of my mom because she was a quote on quote "a Jesus Freak", continually inviting friends of mine to come to church. My mom was an amazingly talented and funny woman, quick witted, with a love for music. She loved life and loved Christ. She was an example of what a Godly woman looks like and is still an example to me in my life today.
