S'more time!

Fall is my favorite season.  It's a time where things change and usually the start of something new.  Starbucks brings out the ever so wonderful pumpkin spice latte.  Basically great things are associated with Fall.  So naturally, Ashley and I wanted to have fall here...in SL...on an island.  We decorated around our house to make it "feel" more like the season, and made different food items involving pumpkin.  We are able to find an assorted amount of gourds and can actually find pumpkins (even though their not orange in color) here so they work great for our decorating purposes.  However, then we have to explain to our friends why the heck we're decorating using food.  Many quizzical stares.  We were craving fall so much so the other day that we decided to have a mini fire and roast marshmallows and make s'mores.  Can we get graham crackers here?  No we can not.  Can you make homemade graham crackers?  Yes you can.  Martha Stewart and Paula Dean would have been proud.  So we got everything ready, made a fire, and pretended like it was fall and we were at a bonfire.  :)  I can say that never have I ever been that sweaty making s'mores.  They were really tasty, but the end result was quite comical.  Us in our shorts, roasting marshmallows with sweat pouring off our faces, all while grinning and enjoying a little bit of  "Fall".    Oh the things you do while living in another country...

Homemade Graham Crackers!  (ok ok...the marshmallows and reese cups you can't get here.  Thanks family and friends for those gifts!)
