Candy Canes, Glitter, Bonfires, and SL Santa

This past weekend, Ashley and I joined our church in going to an orphanage that's a few hours away from the capital city.  We helped organize craft time and just loved on some kiddos.  It was your typical "mission trip" day.  :)

Some of our church acted out a few bible stories.

Pretty kids

It doesn't matter where you live, girls love nail polish.

Relay Races!

We did different Christmas crafts with the kids.

Glitter...kids loved it.  They were covered in it.  In hindsight we should have used something different.  ;)

Our funny Charlie Brown tree.

Bonfire! (They even attempted to make a version of s'mores.  The marshmallows were different flavors and there was no chocolate and no graham crackers...but they tried and the kids really liked it.)  haha

One of the guys dressed up like Santa (kinnnnda creepy) and then handed out presents to each one of the kids.  Each present had a kids name on it.  The kids looked so excited to get a gift that was specifically for them with their name on it.  I loved that.
